Robert Kubica of F1 leaves hospital 11 weeks after the accident
PIETRA LIGURE, Italy (AP) — Polish Formula One driver Robert Kubica left hospital 12 weeks after suffering severe injuries during a rally accident.The hospital of Santa Corona in the Northern Italian town of Pietra Ligure announced the news late Saturday, saying that "his condition is good and the (driver) will begin a new phase of rehabilitation outside the hospital."After the accident of 6 February, Kubica underwent seven hours of surgery to save his right hand before operations on the shoulder, leg and elbow.He was replaced by German driver Nick Heidfeld in the Renault team this season.The hospital said that Kubica is going back to visits to be monitored by doctors who treated him.
