Bahrain activists oppose resuming GP of Bahrain

MANAMA, Bahrain (AP) — pro-democracy Activists have launched a Facebook campaign called on head of formula one Bernie Ecclestone not to reschedule the Bahrain Grand Prix, until the Government ends its repression against the demonstrators.Young people from 14 February revolution published an open letter on Facebook over the weekend urging Ecclestone not to let the race go forward "until the human rights and freedoms are restored."The GP of Bahrain was scheduled to be the F1 season opened on March 13, but was cancelled in February by Crown Prince of Bahrain, after protests paralyzed the country.The F1 season began, instead, the GP of Australia in Melbourne on March 27, that governing body gave the Federation series of Bahrain until May 1 to decide whether a new date can be set this year.
